| Early in the morning every day for 10 minutes and building up gradually to 40 minutes, they are walked in single file in groups of about ten. The workout is carried out at walking pace and in hand on a track of about 400 metres over natural terrain. Colts that require more extensive work are lunged alternately with the walk. |

| After the workout, the yearlings go out in the paddock for two to three hours. This continues until the day before departure. The stud also prepares stock for the various foal or broodmare sales in France and abroad. |
