BOARDING
The stud boards around 60 mares yearly with 25 of its own. Others mares are boarded only for the breeding season.
Around 60 to 70 births occur each year on the stud.

The foaling unit includes 5 stables with video cameras and also a special room for the night watcher here every night from January to end of May.
Foalings are done by our Stud Groom and an assistant, in case of complication our veterinary is called immediately to relieve the team.

The veterinary surgeon ( Dr Foursin ) carries out daily a gynaecoligical work.
The newborn foals and their mothers are led out individually within their first few days in small paddocks when the weather allows it, then strings of same age are divided in big paddocks. Foals are in at night until June but during the summer they come in at morning time to be fed and go out again later on.
