INFRASTRUCTURE
Located in the heart of Normandy, where so many champions have been bred, the stud covers 160 hectares of undulating grassland either side of the La Dieuge river.
The paddocks, each with an average area of five hectares, have post and rail fencing and most are reached by a wide access road which runs through the property.

The stud farm is made up of 6 separate divisions with a total of 170 boxes : From January 2005 the stud has adopted a new property, the Haras de Beauménil. Situated in the commune of Saint Gervais du Perron approx. 20 kms from the main farm, the Haras de Beauménil has been leased by R & M from Monsieur Jacques Bozo.
Montaigu
with over 60 hectares of paddocks is also where the head office is located, with 60 loose boxes for broodmares. There are five foaling boxes adjacent to an observation room. One box also for gynaecological follow-up care and ultrasound scans and a small indoor school. The broodmares which spend all year at the stud are stabled here.
La Chauvière
covering 15 hectares, has five boxes and five paddocks for stallions and 20 new boxes for short-stay broodmares.
L'Oisellerie
is the yard exclusively reserved for yearlings. It includes 46 boxes and 55 hectares divided into 19 paddocks: ten with double fencing for colts and six for fillies. Weaned foals are stabled here and remain until they are sold or depart for training.
La Reboursière
includes the quarantine unit and the show jumping stable ("the Owner's hobby").
Some large pastures (30 hectares approx) are only used during the summer months, either for haymaking or for accommodating barren broodmares from May until November.
2005 sees the first operation of our newly constructed yard. This beautiful new facility replaces the old and outdated installation.
Villepelée
A yard of 25 big boxes, especially booked for visiting mares during the breeding season, 18 hectares paddock recently fenced are right beside.
